Exec replacing Janine Marmot

LONDON — Neil Peplow has been appointed director of film at Skillset, the government and industry-backed training body for the U.K. creative industries.

Peplow, who will oversee Skillset’s Bigger Future training scheme, starts March 2.

He replaces Janine Marmot, who is going back to producing.

For the past two years, Peplow has been managing director and producer at Meerkat Films, as well as working as a consultant.

Previously, he was head of production at the Film Consortium, where he was involved in projects including “My Summer of Love” and “Bright Young Things.”
