Metrodome agrees iTunes deal

New, catalog titles to be sold, rented from site

LONDON — Metrodome Distribution has announced a deal with iTunes to make new and back catalogue films available on a download-to-own and download-to-rent basis on the service.

Films include “Shifty,” “Fifty Dead Men Walking,” “Love the Beast,” “The Other Man” and “Genova.”

To launch the deal, Metrodome has rolled out a marketing initiative with in-store appearances by helmer Richard Eyre (“Notes on a Scandal”) and actor Eric Bana (“Troy,” “Chopper”) at the flagship Apple Store in London.
