Le Pogam joins Film Finance Market

EuropaCorp co-founder to speak at London event

LONDON — EuropaCorp co-founder Pierre-Ange Le Pogam will deliver the keynote address at this year’s Film Finance Market.

The two-day confab, organized by Film London and held during the London Film Festival, brings together filmmakers and producers with sources of coin such as sales agents financiers.

Previous keynote speakers have been Miramax topper Daniel Battsek and the Film Dept. co-founder Mark Gill.

This year’s third annual Film Finance Market unspools Oct. 21-21.

EuropaCorp has enjoyed a banner year thanks to the likes of Pierre Morel-directed action pic “Taken,” which grossed more than $140 million in the U.S., where it was released by Fox.

EuropaCorp also inked a deal with Miramax in April for a remake of their Guillaume Canet-directed thriller “Tell No One.”
