Comedy centers on prostitute looking to quit
PARIS — Isabelle Huppert (“White Material”) and Bouli Lanners (“Nothing Personal”) will topline in comedy “Sans Queue Ni Tete” (Cock and Bull).
Huppert plays a prostitute who decides to go to see a shrink, played by Lanners, to help her quit her job.
The $7 million pic, helmed by Jeanne Labrune, is produced by Paris-based Liaison Cinematographique (“Diamant 13”) and co-produced by Luxembourg’s Samsa Film (“Silent Wedding”), Belgium’s Artemis Prods. and France’s Art Light Prods.
Canal Plus has pre-bought the film. Rezo Films will handle French distribution.
Labrune last directed Kristin Scott Thomas starrer “Mauvaise Pente.”
Lensing will take place in Belgium, Luxembourg and Paris, beginning Sep. 28.
