The film is helmed by horror thriller master Takashi Shimizu (“The Grudge”) and produced by Masayuki Tanishima of Asmik Ace Entertainment, and Satoru Ogura of Ogura Jimusyo. Daisuke Hosaka penned the script.

The deal was brokered by Fortissimo Film’s topper Michael J. Werner and Asmik Ace’s Joe Ikeda.

“The Shock Labyrinth” follows a group of teenagers dealing with the unexpected return of a friend who disappeared more then a decade earlier.
