‘Fish Tank’ swims atop Haugesund fest

Brit pic wins top prize at festival

HAUGESUND — Brit film “Fish Tank,” helmed by Andrea Arnold, won the top prize from Norwegian film critics at the the 37th Norwegian Film Festival in Haugesund at the fest’s annual awards ceremony Thursday night. Ken Loach’s “Looking for Eric” claimed the “Distributor of Joy” award. The audience award went to Pixar/Disney’s animated “Up,” helmed by Pete Docter, while Michael Haneke’s Cannes-winner “The White Ribbon” won the Andreas Award.
