Filmmakers to be feted at cinematography fest

Schlondorff, Sanders will receive lifetime achievement kudos

Cinematography fest Plus Camerimage will honor German helmer Volker Schlondorff and director-writer Terry Sanders at its 17th annual edition, Nov. 28-Dec. 5 in Lodz, Poland.

Schlondorff, who directed such pics as “Golden Palm,” “Death of a Salesman” and “The Tin Drum,” will receive the directorial lifetime achievement award.

Documaker Sanders’ credits include “Fighting for Life,” “The Legend of Marilyn Monroe” and “Maya Lin: A Strong Clear Vision.”

A retrospective of both helmers’ films will screen at the fest.
