AAC slated for Nov. 20 in Singapore

TOKYO — Animation Asia Conference, skedded for Nov. 20 in Singapore, has announced its program including a new project showcase.

Held in conjunction with Anime Festival Asia, the confab will focus on creation and marketing, with a speaker line-up that includes Kadokawa Group chairman/CEO Tsuguhiko Kadokawa, toon helmer Mamoru Hosada (“Summer Wars,” “The Girl Who Leapt Through Time”),  Dentsu senior VP Kotaro Sugiyama, toon producer and comic publisher Edmund Sher, toon producer Shiro Sasaki and Japanese pop culture blogger Danny Choo. 

Twelve toon houses, including Madhouse, Tatsunoko Prods., Production IG and Gonzo, will present projects to TV broadcasters and advertisers.
