MUMBAI — Helmer Rajkumar Hirani’s “3 Idiots,” toplining Bollywood superstar Aamir Khan, has scored the best opening weekend ever for an Indian film.
Pic, which opened Friday, grossed rupees 1 billion ($21.4 million) worldwide, distributor Reliance Big Pictures said. Previous record was held by A.R.
