‘Color of Money’ set for Italian version

ITV gameshow will premiere on Italia 1 this fall

The ITV gameshow “Color of Money,” which failed to live up to its hype as a successor to “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire” in the U.K., will be revived for audiences in Italy.

The Italian version will be made in Rome, co-produced by Mediaset-owned RTI Prods. with Triangle Prods. and ITV Studios.

The 30-minute gamer, commissioned for 60 episodes, will premiere on Italia 1 this fall, stripped in an early-evening slot.

The format was created by 12 Yard, the shingle acquired by ITV 18 months ago and best known for masterminding “The Weakest Link.”
