LONDON — Global production powerhouse Endemol has secured its first European commission for gameshow “The Whole 19 Yards.”
Endemol Spain will produce six episodes of the program for Spain’s Antena 3.
Known locally as “Los Ultimos 20 Metros” skein will bow in a peaktime slot Wednesday.
Show was originally created by Endemol UK and developed by Endemol USA for CBS, which has greenlit a pilot.
Players compete to win a cash prize by answering general knowledge questions on the buzzer.
But getting to the buzzer involves navigating a 19-yard obstacle course.
“The Whole 19 Yards” was launched at the Mip sales mart in March.
