New Media Group adds NBU's Spanish channel

TOKYO — The New Media Group, which operates the World On-Demand channel in Japan, has added NBC Universal’s Spanish-language channel Telemundo to its line-up, the company announced on Wednesday. 

The deal will bring 560 episodes of popular Spanish-language series, such as “Dame Chocolate,” “Madre Luna,” “Tierra de pasiones” and “Pecados ajenos,” to Japanese viewers. Subscribers to the Telemundo SVOD Pack will also be able to access 10 new Telemundo episodes per month, with unlimited viewing.
