Sony Pictures Television Intl. has upped Jamie Weissenborn to senior VP, digital media and global advertising sales, for its international networks group.
He will report to Andy Kaplan, SPTI’s president, international networks.
Weissenborn adds oversight of the international networks group’s digital distribution strategy, site enhancement, traffic growth initiatives, media sales and digital revenue.
He oversees brand-driven partnerships, manages online video, site design, search engine optimization, commerce and other site partnerships.
Weissenborn will continue to head global advertising sales initiatives, branded content, new channel and revenue development.
His responsibilities span SPTI’s AXN, Animax and Sony Entertainment Television channel brands. SPTI’s international networks group has 50 channels reaching close to 400 million viewers in more than 130 countries.
Weissenborn had been SPTI’s VP of global advertising sales and international networks since 2004.
