TV Series will include 'Lost,' 'Ugly Betty'

HONG KONG — Hong Kong telco giant PCCW and Disney-ABC Intl. Television Wednesday announced a deal for on-demand viewing of Disney-ABC content on PCCW’s now TV pay TV platform.

The service, known as TV Series, will allow subscribers to view full episodes of series including “Desperate Housewives,” “Lost” and “Ugly Betty” on demand for $6.40 a month in standard definition, and $7.70 a month in high definition.

“With the brand new TV Series service, we’re putting control in the hands of the viewer in how and when they catch up on their favorite shows,” said Rob Gilby, senior VP and managing director for Disney-ABC Intl. Television. “This reflects our continued commitment to expanding the reach of our content across multiple platforms.”
