LONDON — Alchemy Television Group has tapped Michael Oesterlin as prexy, worldwide distribution.
Oesterlin will oversee all the company’s international distribution and integrate sales across the reality and drama divisions.
The exec, who will be based in London, comes to Alchemy from RHI Entertainment, where he served as senior VP of international sales.
Known for big-budget event miniseries such as Lifetime’s “Coco Chanel,” starring Shirley MacLaine, Alchemy entered the series market this year with CBS’ “Flashpoint.”
The shingle recently produced teen makeover series “Scene Stealers” for the BBC.
Alchemy’s biggest production to date, a retelling of “Ben-Hur,” shoots later this year.
