Casting agent for 'Taxi Driver,' 'Tootsie'

Casting agent Sylvia Fay died Aug. 22 in New York. She was 91.

Fay was casting director of films including Brian De Palma’s “Phantom of the Paradise” and “Sisters.” She worked on extras casting for hundreds of TV and film productions including “Taxi Driver,” “GoodFellas,” “Tootsie” and “Terms of Endearment.” Fay also worked extensively in casting extras for TV shows such as “Law and Order,” “The Equalizer” and “Oz.”

A memorial service will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at Riverside Memorial Chapel, 180 W. 76th St., New York.
