Executive shuffles

Imprint Entertainment hired Amanda Toye from David Friendly Productions.

Creative executive Toye has worked in development, finance, and production with producer David Friendly (Friendly Films, “Little Miss Sunshine”) and Nu Image/Millennium.

She began her career as a line producer and production manager in Chicago, producing features, commercials and music videos, before briefly working in business affairs at a studio. Toye is a graduate of Columbia College Film School.

Imprint Entertainment hired Adam Wilkins as a creative exec from Mark Platt Productions.

Adam Wilkins moved to Los Angeles in 2002 after graduating from the University of Pennsylvania where he majored in English Literature and Film Studies. Wilkins received his MFA in 2006 from USC.

Entertainment publicity firm Levine Communications Office added Eddie Garcia to its lineup of entertainment publicists.

Garcia has garnered widespread media attention for past and current clients. Previously, Garcia worked for several years as a publicist at The Professional Image, Inc. before joininng LCO as an account manager.

The Recording Academy announced in November that it appointed Peter Anton as its vice president of digital media. In the newly created role, Anton will report to executive vice president David Grossman.

Under Anton’s leadership, the Digital Media department will work closely with The Academy’s business units to identify and implement strategies that will benefit all constituent groups. Anton also will provide high-level digital media strategy to move The Recording Academy brand forward in today’s online space.

Prior to joining The Academy, Anton was Senior Vice President of Sportnet, a division of the Wasserman Media Group.
