Exec was head of sales
LONDON — Seasoned sales topper Christina Willoughby has been tapped as managing director of Channel 4 International, the U.K. distribution company bought recently by Digital Rights Group.
Willoughby, who joined C4i in 2003, was formerly head of international sales and co-productions at the combo.
She will also serve as acting managing director of iD Distribution, also owned by Digital Rights Group, which sells factual entertainment, lifestyle, reality and docus.
Willoughby is a former head of Chrysalis Distribution and has also worked for Granada Television International, Italo pubcaster RAI plus other U.K. and U.S. shingles.
