Todobebe brings ‘Viva’ to Mexico

Televisa to air parenting show

MEXICO CITY — Spanish-language family content shingle Todobebe is bringing its hit parenting show “Viva la Familia!” to Mexico in a deal with the nation’s top broadcaster, Televisa.

“Viva la Familia! de Todobebe” first launched in the U.S. as a special on top Spanish-language web Univision last July, beating out the networks for a top ratings share for adults 18-34. The weekly show expanded to Puerto Rico in September, and is being syndicated internationally.

The show, hosted by Aracely Arambula and Jeannette Kaplun, will launch this month on the conglom’s Channel 2 (“Canal de Las Estrellas”) and on Televisa Networks via Unicable.

Marking the first time a producer has locked deals independently with both Univision and Televisa, the show includes tapings in Los Angeles studios and reality segments produced in both the U.S. and Mexico.
