HOLLYWOOD — NBC Universal’s Telemundo has upped Johanna Guerra from VP to senior VP, network news.
News industry vet will report to Telemundo president Don Browne. Guerra’s responsibilities include developing strategic plans for all the network’s news properties and overseeing news programming.
Guerra also supervises the Spanish-language network’s domestic and international news bureaus in Los Angeles, New York, Washington and Mexico City.
Before becoming VP of network news, Guerra was the executive producer of “Al Rojo vivo con Maria Celeste,” Telemundo’s newsmagazine. Her first post at Telemundo was as an assignment editor at WNJU.
