Exec to become head of programming

SYDNEY — Paybox Foxtel has appointed Ross Crowley to a newly created position as head of programming.

Crowley, an exec with two decades of experience, most recently at Star TV in Asia, will be responsible for acquisitions, new channels and strategic operations.

Foxtel also has recruited former Nine Network head of daytime programming, Lauren Sidler to a special projects role. Sidler is on a six-month contract, during which time she will report to Crowley on new channel development.
