The Oprah Winfrey Network continued filling out its exec ranks, naming Timothy Kuryak and Jill Dickerson as programming veeps.
The nascent net, half-owned by Discovery Communications, looked inside to tap Kuryak, previously VP of West Coast development and production at Discovery sister channel Planet Green. Prior to that, he was VP of Fox World Prods. He comes on board immediately.
Dickerson, who’ll start her gig Jan. 5, comes with a deep reality pedigree. She’s head writer and consulting producer of MTV’s “The Real World” and previously produced VH1’s “My Fair Brady” and ABC Family’s “Venus and Serena: For Real.” She also served as series producer of ABC’s “The Bachelorette” and senior story editor on CBS’ “Big Brother” and ABC’s “The Mole.”
The pair will report to OWN senior veeps Maria Grasso and Nina Wass.
