Mike Huckabee heads to Fox’s ‘HQ’

Former GOP candidate joins 'Election' show

Former 2008 GOP presidential candidate Mike Huckabee is the latest addition to Fox News Channel’s “America’s Election HQ.”

Fox senior VP of programming Bill Shine announced Thursday that Huckabee, a previous governor of Arkansas, had been signed to the program as a regular contributor.

“Gov. Huckabee’s campaign experience and knowledge of politics makes him a great addition to our ongoing election coverage,” Shine said in a statement.

Huckabee withdrew his bid for the Republican nomination in March after Sen. John McCain (R-Ariz.) won enough delegates to clinch it.
