Gameshow gives second chance to debtors

Lighthearted Entertainment has developed a reality-gameshow hybrid appropriate for a world rocked by stock market tumult.

From exec producer Howard Schultz (“The Moment of Truth”), “Desperate Measures” will give contestants on the brink of financial ruin a chance to wipe out their entire debt.

Skein will be sold at the Mipcom TV mart, which begins today in Cannes. ShineReveille Intl. will be distributing. No U.S. network is attached.

ShineReveille Intl. has locked up distribution deals for the upcoming Ryan Seacrest-produced “Bromance,” which will air on MTV. Skein focuses around Brody Jenner and his search for a new member of his entourage.

Indie shingle has been busy of late locking up deals around the globe. ShineReveille Intl. recently signed first-look output deals with Fox Intl. channels in Eastern Europe, Greece, Turkey and Portugal, as well as nets in Finland and Israel.

Broadcasters that have agreements with ShineReveille Intl. will have exclusive access to the formats and finished episodes sold by ShineReveille Intl. from the Shine Group of companies — Reveille, Kudos, Firefly, Princess Prods. and Shine TV.

Renegade 83 Prods. (“Mobile Home Disaster”) also has signed with ShineReveille Intl., which will distribute all content.
