Exec to handle sales of company's catalogue

TORONTO — Emmanuelle Bon has joined the sales team of Toronto-based Decode Enterprises, the kid and family entertainment production company and distribution subsidiary of DHX Media.

She will be responsible for French-speaking Europe, Benelux and Scandinavia.

Bon, who previously worked for Canal J and Fox Kids in Paris, will handle sales of Decode’s catalogue, which also includes programming from Halifax Film and Studio B. She will be based in London and report to distribution VP Josh Scherba.

Decode’s slate includes preschool series “Animal Mechanicals,” “Martha Speaks” (a co-production with WGBH Boston), animated series “Chop Socky Chooks” (produced with Aardman), the new teen show “How to be Indie” and several others.
