At ABC Entertainment and ABC Studios, Gersh worked on shows such as “Lost,” “Desperate Housewives” and “Dancing With the Stars,” coming up with new businesses alongside those shows’ producers.

Exec was part of the team that put series episodes on iTunes and and also helped launch the company’s early TV-on-DVD biz with shows such as “Alias.”

“I want to make sure business opportunities reflect the visions of their creators,” Gersh said of his new job. “I’m now one step closer to creators (by joining William Morris).”
