Exec will oversee 11 brands in Britain
LONDON — Discovery Networks Intl. has upped Dan Brooke to executive VP and managing director of its U.K. activities.
Previously general manager, Discovery Networks U.K., Brooke will oversee strategic development and operations of Discovery’s 11 brands in Blighty.
These include Discovery Channel, Discovery Real Time, Discovery Turbo and DMAX.
Brooke, who joined Discovery from U.K. terrestrial web Channel 4, reports to Discovery Networks Intl. president and CEO Greg Ricca.
