Executive is ex-Marvel licensing chief

A former Sony, Time Warner and Disney marketing maven has been appointed global brand director at ITV Worldwide, the U.K. terrestrial giant’s distribution division.

He is former Marvel Entertainment licensing chief Gustavo Antonioni, who will be responsible for driving the international marketing and licensing strategy for lucrative ITV properties like “Hell’s Kitchen” and the seasoned British soap “Coronation Street.”

Antonioni will report to ITV Worldwide prexy and managing director Peter Iacono, who said: “Gustavo Antonioni has a proven track record of managing high-profile consumer brands for some of the biggest entertainment companies on the planet.

“His expertise and international outlook will play a vital role in driving ITV’s global marketing and licensing strategy forward.”
