ABC Studios has passed out vice prexy stripes to drama exec Brian Harvey and comedy exec Patrick Maguire.
Harvey, who reports to drama series senior VP Morgan Wandell, helped develop frosh entries “Dirty Sexy Money” and “Eli Stone.” Maguire, meanwhile, will report to comedy VP Jodie Platt.
Harvey was most recently a director of drama; his credits also include “Brothers & Sisters,” “Kyle XY” and “October Road.”
“He has really stepped up and played a big role in bringing these shows to life,” Wandell said.
Harvey has been with ABC Studios since 2002; before that, he worked at the Mark Gordon Co., as well as at Paramount as a production staffer with the “Star Trek” franchise.
Maguire is working on the Cedric the Entertainer comedy pilot; he also handled frosh skeins such as “Cavemen.”
Maguire has worked on shows such as “My Wife and Kids,” “Scrubs” and “According to Jim,” previously as executive director of comedy.
Platt called Maguire a “talented development executive with great instincts.”
Exec’s credits also include stints at ABC and DreamWorks TV.
