TF1 restructures content divisions

Merges six units into single entity

Gallic TV network TF1 is investing €133 million ($195 million) into the restructuring of its content-production activities by merging six divisions into a single entity.

The group is eliminating its six production arms — Alma, TF1 Pub Production, Glem, Quai Sud and TAP — to create five departments that will focus on mags, fiction, variety, spectacles and specials.

The entity, which has not yet been named, will be finalized in January.
