Susan Winston has been tapped to serve as an exec producer on AMC’s “Shootout,” the long-running talker hosted by Variety editor-in-chief Peter Bart and producer Peter Guber.
Winston’s credits include serving as a producer on ABC’s “Good Morning America,” as well as CBS’ early morning gabfest. She was also a producer on the 68th Academy Awards kudocast and most recently exec produced the series “Jury Duty.”
Winston also exec produced daytime talker “The Other Half,” as well as several “Miss Teen USA” and “Miss USA” pageants.
She’ll work alongside Scott Sternberg, who has been exec producer since the show’s launch.
“Shootout,” now in its fifth season, is AMC’s longest-running nonscripted skein. Show is also seen in 53 territories across the globe.
Guests on the show, the most-watched TV talker centered on the movie biz, have included George Clooney, Denzel Washington, Clint Eastwood, Steven Spielberg, Francis Ford Coppola, Robert Downey Jr., Sarah Jessica Parker and Charlize Theron.
