Sony BMG has tapped former Fox Entertainment Group exec Michael Paull to develop the music company’s global digital biz.
Paull has been named exec VP, global digital business, and will report to Thomas Hesse, prexy of global digital business and U.S. sales.
Paull will work with the senior executive team in designing and implementing the company’s worldwide digital strategy and will seek to identify and develop new business initiatives and models.
Most recently senior VP of corporate development and strategy for Fox Mobile Entertainment and Jamba, Paull was an executive at Sony Pictures in the business development and digital services and distribution departments. He has also worked for Time Warner and Artisan Entertainment.
