Fuse has hired Paul Villadolid as VP of development and original series for the West Coast, using the position as a way to develop an increased presence in the region.
Villadolid comes to Fuse, the music-based net owned by Cablevision, from CMT, where he served as veepee in charge of programming and development. He will report to exec VP Matt Farber.
“Paul has an impressive history of developing popular and entertaining programming for a broad audience,” Farber said. “Our new presence on the West Coast rounds out our development and original series team.”
Fuse just announced three new series this week: “Redemption Song,” “Rock Bottom” and “Tour Me a New One.”
Net offers nonscripted programming, including concerts from Madison Square Garden.
