Nominations set for Caucus awards

Tina Fey, Glenn Close among nominees

Steven Cannell, Gil Cates, Vin Di Bona and Norman Powell are among the nominees for the Caucus for Television Producers, Writers and Directors’ 2008 honors.

The 26th annual awards dinner will be held Sunday at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Writer noms go to Bill Blinn, Shonda Rhimes, David Shore and Matthew Weiner.

Dan Attias, Steve Binder, Tom Hooper, Arlene Sanford and Barry Sonnenfeld are up for director kudos, while Tina Fey, Glenn Close, Holly Hunter and Kyra Sedgwick compete for the award for “actors who are hyphenates.”

Mark Walberg will host the black-tie affair. The night includes special honors and two Caucus Foundation student filmmaker grants.

The Caucus gathers annually to pay tribute to artistic, creative and exec individuals in television producing innovative, creative and distinctive contributions.
