News Corp. has announced an exec shuffle at its ayem talk entities.
David Brown was named executive producer of Twentieth’s syndicated yakker “The Morning Show With Mike and Juliet.” He’d previously exec produced the morning cable confab “Fox and Friends.” Brown replaces Nancy Duffy, who was reassigned to special projects for Fox News.
Taking over for Brown is Lauren Petterson, who returns to the News Corp. fold after a stint heading up the 11 p.m. news at WCBS in New York. Prior to that, she’d been a senior producer at “Fox and Friends.”
“Mike and Juliet” production exec Kevin Magee said Brown’s “demonstrated ability to guide a show that combines fun, entertaining segments with topical news made him the ideal choice for this position.”
Brown’s upping represents a reunion of sorts with the skein’s hosts, Mike Jerrick and Juliet Huddy, onetime anchors of “Fox and Friends Weekend.”
