New look for NAB confab

Convention takes place April 18-23

New pavilions and exhibitors will showcase some of the latest developments in 3-D, mobile, IPTV and content at the 2009 NAB Show this spring.

More than 1,600 exhibits are planned for the April 18-23 confab in Las Vegas. Participants so far include Sony, Thomson, Panasonic, Canon, Dolby, Evertz, Harris, JVC, Ross Video, Vitec Group, Accenture, Adobe, Autodesk, Cisco, Google, HP, Microsoft, NEC, Qualcomm/MediaFLO and Quantel.

“The new pavilions featured on the exhibit floor will allow content professionals from all sides of the broadcasting spectrum to come together to share experiences, explore opportunities and examine new business models for distributing content over next generation platforms,” NAB exec veep Chris Brown said.
