Wife of TV exec was teacher, philanthropist
Louise “Weezie” Dann, wife of former television exec Michael Dann, died Dec. 25 in New York after a long illness. She was 80.
New York City native was known for her teaching of painted finish at the Isabel O’Neil Studio as well as for philanthropic and other social-civic activities in her home city.
Michael Dann served as head of NBC Entertainment in the 1950s and senior vice president of programs during the 1960s at CBS. He now heads the consultancy Michael Dann Associates, with clients around the world.
Besides her husband, she is survived by three children; three step-children and 10 grandchildren.
