Warner Bros. TV has tapped attorney Jody Zucker to lead its legal affairs team.
Zucker has been named senior VP and general counsel for the studio, reporting to Warner Bros. TV exec VP Brett Paul. Paul called Zucker “a highly accomplished attorney with a deep understanding of our business.”
Exec will oversee Warner Bros. TV’s legal department, including its team of lawyers. He’ll also handle all of the studio’s TV legal issues. Zucker has spent time recently spearheading Warner Bros. TV’s digital issues, helping launch TheWB.com and renegotiating digital agreements with the networks.
Zucker joined Warner Bros. TV in 2000 as VP of legal affairs; more recently, he’s served as senior VP and deputy general counsel. He’s been acting general counsel since 2007.
