Exec VP named chief marketing officer
E! Entertainment and its Style Network sibling have created the post of chief marketing officer and promoted Suzanne Kolb to fill it.
Kolb, previously exec VP of marketing and communications for E!, will ride herd on the branding initiatives of E! and Style and both of the networks’ websites. She’ll work with network heads on talent signings and co-supervise E!’s newsgathering efforts with Ken Baker.
Kolb will oversee E!’s new summer original series “Denise Richards: It’s Complicated” and “Living Lohan.”
She reports to Ted Harbert, president and CEO of the Comcast Entertainment Group, which includes E! and Style, who touted her creative skills and managerial abilities.
Before joining E! in December 2004, Kolb worked for eight years as an official for The WB, rising to executive VP of marketing. She started her career as an exec with Grey Advertising, supervising the ABC account.
