Move adds to Lifestyle Upsize channel tier
CANNES — Comcast Intl. Media Group (CIMG) will launch the Style Network on Star Hub TV in Singapore as part of its Lifestyle Upsize channel tier and on the New Media Group’s IPTV platform World On-Demand in Japan. CIMG has also struck a two-year deal with Finland’s MTV OY to deliver 600 hours of premier titles for the company’s Sub TV, Ava TV and Max TV channels.
Deal includes flagship CIMG programming such as “Keeping Up With the Kardashians,” “Snoop Dogg’s Father Hood,” as well as latest titles “Pam: Girl on the Loose” and “Victoria Silvstedt — My Perfect Life,” which is being pushed hard at Mipcom. The international distribution operation of Comcast Corp. has also reupped on its long-term programming deal with MTV Russia.
