CBS News hires Dee Dee Myers

Former White House aid named political analyst

CBS News has added former White House press secretary Dee Dee Myers to its stable of political analysts.

Myers, who was chief spokeswoman for the first two years of the Clinton administration, will team with the Eye’s other analysts, President George W. Bush’s former communications point man Dan Bartlett and former Howard Dean presidential campaign manager Joe Trippi.

What the trio will “impart to our viewers will be, we hope, of real value in helping them to make decisions on Nov. 4,” said CBS News and Sports prexy Sean McManus in a statement.
