Indian music label enlists Raghav, Hard Kaur
HONG KONG — Big Music, the music label launched by India’s Reliance ADA group last year, has diversified into artiste management.
Music acts it has enlisted include Raghav, Hard Kaur the U.K.-based performer with hit “Ek Glasssy” and Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan.
Performers are being offered ‘360 degree’ contracts – a controversial subject in the music industry these days – spanning recorded and live music, events and TV performances.
Company next intends to hatch a venture for music composers and lyricists, Big Music CEO Kulmeet Makkar, said recently.
Reliance ADA is currently in talks to invest upwards of $500 million in Hollywood studio DreamWorks.
