TOKYO — News Broadcasting Japan, the Japanese rep of News Corp., is launching a digital broadcasting start-up, the company announced on Tuesday.

NBJ has invested $92,865 in a planning company called BS Fox, while appointing Yoshitsugu Koizumi as topper.

By July of 2011, when Japan switches completely from analog to digital broadcasting, NBS plans to have BS Fox up and running as one of the 10 to 20 digital broadcast satellite broadcasters skedded to be licensed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.
