Schwimmer’s ‘Our Town’ is Chicago

Lookingglass production to run Feb. 11 - Apr. 5

David Schwimmer will play George Gibbs in a Chicago production of “Our Town,” which will be co-directed by Anna D. Shapiro (“August: Osage County”) and Jessica Thebus.

Show, to play Feb. 11-April 5, is part of the season announced by Lookingglass Theater Company in Chi, where former “Friends” star Schwimmer is a longtime ensemble member.

Other shows include a new adaptation of “The Brothers Karamazov” (Oct. 15-Dec. 7) and a re-staging of Mary Zimmerman’s “The Arabian Nights” (May 20-July 12). Zimmerman (“Metamorphoses”) also is a Lookingglass ensemble member.

The revival of Thornton Wilder’s “Our Town” will feature Joey Slotnick, known for TV stints on “The Single Guy” and “Boston Public,” as the Stage Manager, the play’s narrator.
