Fiennes, Hart, Logan to headline play

Screen thesps Joseph Fiennes, Ian Hart and Phyllis Logan will return to the stage to headline “2000 Feet Away” at the Bush Theater, London’s 86-seat new writing powerhouse.

Bush theater a.d. Josie Rourke will helm the play, a debut from British-Australian dramatist Anthony Weigh. Set in Eldon, Iowa — home of Grant Wood’s painting “American Gothic” — it is a response to Iowa state law barring registered sex offenders from residing less than 2000 feet of where children congregate.

Other confirmed casting includes Kirsty Bushell and Roger Sloman. The play runs June 11-July 12.
