Gotham legit stalwart Brian Murray rounds out the cast of “To Be or Not to Be,” the upcoming Broadway adaptation of the 1942 pic that kicks off the Manhattan Theater Club season in September.
Murray (“Twelfth Night,” “The Play About the Baby”) will play a member of the Polish theater troupe that gets caught up in WWII espionage in the black comedy.
Cast also includes Craig Bierko and Jan Maxwell as the heads of the troupe.
Nick Whitby’s new stage adaptation of “To Be or Not to Be” is helmed by Casey Nicholaw (“The Drowsy Chaperone”). Show begins perfs Sept. 11 ahead of an Oct. 2 opening at the Biltmore Theater, MTC’s Rialto venue.
