Ad exec's credits include 'Affliction,' G.I. Jane'
Eleanore Reznikoff, a legit theater producer turned film marketing and advertising exec, died Aug. 9 in Los Angeles. She was 57.
As a New York-based theater producer, she worked with Colleen Dewhurst at the Long Wharf in New Haven on their stage production of “Rainsnakes,” which she produced with partner Marita Lindholm-Gochman. Reznikoff also produced stage plays and special events for Lincoln Center, the Yale Repertory Theater and Circle in the Square.
After relocating to Los Angeles to work in motion picture publicity, marketing, and advertising, her feature film credits included “Truth Or Dare,” “Affliction,” “G.I. Jane,” “A Brief History of Time” and “One Hour Photo.” During the course of her film career, Reznikoff served as an advertising and marketing executive for Largo Entertainment, Catch 23, Triton and Miramax Films.
She subsequently worked as a communications officer for the UCLA School of Arts and Architecture, promoting exhibitions of faculty and student works, and the installment of a major work by minimalist sculptor Richard Serra at the school’s Eli and Edythe Broad Art Center.
Reznikoff was a graduate of the United States International U. School of Performing Arts, San Diego.
She is survived by her mother and two sisters
