U.S.-Ireland Alliance honors trio

Farrell, Gleeson, Meyers to be feted

Colin Farrell, Brendan Gleeson and Jonathan Rhys Meyers will be feted by the U.S.-Ireland Alliance at “Oscar Wilde: Honoring the Irish in Film” party on Feb. 19.

Farrell will star opposite Edward Norton in the cop drama “Pride and Glory,” which opens on Oct. 24, while Gleeson can be seen next in “The Green Zone,” starring Matt Damon, which will bow in 2009.

Meyers just finished filming “Shelter,” opposite Julianne Moore.

The event will be held at the Wilshire Ebell in Los Angeles.
