Studio Hamburg prod’n chief to quit

Van der Laan to leave at year's end

COLOGNE — The production topper of leading German shingle Studio Hamburg, Sytze van der Laan, is to ankle at the end of the year.

Van der Laan has been head of the management board of the production division, Studio Hamburg Produktion, since 2002. He also held a seat on the board of the holding company.

The shingle produces more than a dozen German primetime series as well as numerous entertainment shows, TV movies, documentaries and feature films.

The production unit’s management team also includes Michael Lehmann, Kerstin Ramcke and Guenther Russ.

Van der Laan’s successor has yet to be named.
