LONDON — Janet McTeer and Nathalie Press will star in “The Sea Change,” a $600,000 budgeted British family drama set on the remote Isle of Mull, Scotland.
McTeer, who won a Golden Globe and was nommed for an Oscar for “Tumbleweeds,” toplines a largely female cast and crew.
Previously announced pic, which is based on Jane Rogers’ novel “Island, The Sea Change,” has been adapted by, and will be co-directed by, Brek Taylor and Elizabeth Mitchell. Clare Tinsley produces.
Project is the first feature from U.K.-based Tailormade Productions.
U.K. indie distrib Soda Pictures will release in the U.K. next fall.
